As it will probably take about lots of gigabites and you won't see nothing there. What you need to do is to try to run it under the debugger (wine winedbg prog,exe). I thought they were asking me to try overriding the dlls as specified in the ie6 installation instructions. I have already tried several times without overriding dlls... so I guess I don't understand what I was being asked to do. Ok, I suppose this isn't the best place for this discussion. Sorry.
