"Does the Windows version works with latest Wine?" Not complete installing process. How is the Linux version different from Windows version? With the desktop managers and O.S. integrations. If you want to try (best): http://www.bricscad.com/download/B4L_certified.jsp 1) you can download linux version (.tar.gz file). 2) Unpack it in your home. 3) Copy bricscad folder in your /opt directory. 4) /opt/bricscad/./icad (to start) If you can prove it with 2005 and 0.9.x version. In my ubuntu, are installed wine 20050725, libwine 0.9.2-winehq-1. If i unpack it in ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files and run layout40.exe it only takes 1 second to start (there are almost no files right there) .
