Yes. It must be install shield (foxpro app, .ins file,...)
And no and no. No luck with stdole nor with native dlls from a windows 98
installation.

The game is playable (atleast from 200501xx)
installer still not fixed, however there is a loki installer
at http://liflg.org/?catid=7&gameid=22
The game has some issues
For example: after saving the game, menu turns to invisible.
You will need to remember location of resume button
The game is still slow because of a mouse? bug

I strongly suspect that the installer is InstallShield. Is that correct?
If that is the case You might be able to get further using stdole.tlb from a
windows 98 install.
You may also want to try native 9x ole*.dlls

Summary: KERNEL.DLL Missing
Product: Wine
Version: 20050211
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-kernel
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: javier(a)isotecsl.com
I having problems in 20050211 while installing a visual foxpro based program.
bash-2.05b$ wine SETUP.EXE
Please use the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\Software\Fonts\LogPixels
to set the screen resolution and remove the "Resolution" entry in the config file
Could not load 'KERNEL.DLL' required by 'ISSET_SE', error=2
Seens exactly like the closed bug# 1438. I can't reopen it (which seems more
correct to me), so I fill a new one.

The code was committed into CVS today, and so either wait for the next
official wine release, or set up cvs and extract the latest code, then build
and compile it. It sounds like you already have sources, so the other option
is to manually make the same changes yourself in the files you have, then try
it. I'm afraid I am unaware of how to do things via the gentoo packages, Sorry.
Flagging as resolved/fixed, but if the same problem comes back just reopen
