First, you MUST run the program with the complete path. For me, this is: wine c:\\Program\ Files\\Weathersoft\\WeatherScope.exe Second, this program REQUIRES a certain registry entry which wine does not create by default: HCU\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Shell Folders\\AppData I set this to "c:\windows\profiles\<username>\Application Data" to fit with this other keys in that group.
