I'll try to to accomplish that in few days, but...
To make things even more bizarre:
After submitting the bug reports I again downgraded wine to snapshot 20050524,
only to find I can't either record in OSS emulation (downgrading ALSA didn't
help). Still, in native ALSA mode, old snapshot plays and records just fine.
Then I took my Live! out and tested another soundcards: fm801 (ForteMedia) and
Realtek ALC (intel8x0 driver), they work fine in both OSS and ALSA modes.

Summary: Segmentation fault loading NeatImage
Product: Wine
Version: 20050628
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P5
Component: wine-binary
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org

Some time ago, I could use NeatImage demo under wine.
I cannot anymore.
Setup from NeatSetup.exe seems to work fine.
But when I try to launch NeatImage.exe, I get no more than 'segmentation fault'.
OS SuSE linux 9.2
wine installed from source with ./tools/wineinstall

First at all: Forgot to mention, I'm using current CVS - maybe you should try
updating and see if it got fixed in the meantime...

How long does it take to upload it for you?

FYI, ftp.verted.net is running ProFTPD 1.2.10 on Linux.

You can use a packet sniffer (Ethereal for example) to figure that out.

No, why? I don't claim that the bug is in ProFTPD (or something) but some
differences between your uploads and mine probably trigger the bug (in Wine).

Highly unlikely as FTP uses seperate connections to transfer files.

Could be the file itself.. Somehow I wouldnt be at all surprised if the file is
being uploaded in a way that the FTP interprets it, instead of just taking the
file and storing it like it should......
Who knows?

it was fixed now.
For the record: It was NOT a swap of buttons because I ran the test suite one
after another without changing mouse orientation and it remained in left-hand
setting, then I changed it back to right-handed and ran the test suite then it
turned to left-handed. So, it only did the swap for right-handed set mouses.

Summary: winecfg will not save drive configuration
Product: Wine
Version: CVS
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-binary
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: ivg2(a)cornell.edu
I ran into cdrom not detected problem with Quake2.
I ran winecfg to discover my cd drive is not found.
Upon running autodetect, the mount point (/media/cdrecorder)
is found, as a "Local Hard Drive", not CDROM.
Clicking apply has no effect, and the drive is
not listed after restarting winecfg. Quake2 continues
not detecting the cd.
