Well yes, it's missing - but could you provide an URL or at least a name of a
program which is not working because this is not exported?

Did it output any other messages before it crashed?
This backtrace doesn't give any information which could be used to track down
the bug... Could you provide a +relay log?
Or is a demo of the game available maybe?

Resolving INVALID - unless Wine kills your X server (which I doubt) this is not
a bug in Wine.
Try using the nv driver and file a bug report at the XFree/Xorg people if the
bug persists (the proprietary driver is officially unsupported by nvidia AFAIK).

Summary: Wine is unable to change resolution if kde has set it
Product: Wine
Version: 20050725
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-directx
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: luizluca(a)gmail.com
I set up my kde to change the resolution at login time. If I do so, wine is
unable to change to any resolution. This doesn't happen if it switch the
resolution during kde's session.
There's info about this bug in:
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2991

Trully, this bug was just about directx detection. This was fixed. The other
issue also reported in http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2991 (marked as
duplicated) still remains. So, if this bug is closed, the other one must be
reopened.
