Google Earth still does not install on my system. I'm now using wine 0.9.4 from the Gentoo Portage system. When I run "wine GoogleEarth.exe" (downloaded GoogleEarth today), an "Google Earth - InstallShield Wizard" window comes up. In that window, two bars in the progress bar are displayed and then nothing happens anymore. Before I started it, I ran winecfg to set the Windows version to Windows XP. Next, I ran GoogleEarth.exe with "winedbg". After it hang, I pressed <Ctrl>+<c>. An error window showed up: An error (-5006 : 0x8000ffff) has occured while running setup. Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications. If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor: Google (http://www.keyhole.com).
