I think there are some fixes for msi and ole regressions in current git. I updated to currect cvs (just in case), wiped my C drive and .wine so its completely fresh, redownloaded it from your link (same file - diff'ed it to confirm), Installed (unchecking 3 boxes, as described) and still cant get it to run. Almost immediately on launch (no splash screen), I get an illegal instruction. The last time I (re)tried to get the demo version I got an expired licence key though; I never tried since.
