Ok.
Configuring Wine to use the native DLL allows me to use the inline editor of
BC2.

I was using a fresh download and configure, with nothing else done in between
(especially not a dist-upgrade). I did not have libSM at all, but I did have
libICE.

Tried installing iTunes 7.0 with today's wine from git.
It aborts fairly early on, after the message
err:msidb:WHERE_VerifyCondition Couldn't find column L"The"

Thanks for your feedback and sorry for the log-post.
Ubuntu is Debian, and only 0.9.1.9 is available through synaptic. Trying to
start from the program directory didn't help.
The program works without installing; just copying the program files works. Only
some DLL's need to be hand assigned, but the dictionary ask for it at startup.
If you want I can upload the programfiles somewhere. 15 MB for only dutch, or
100 for allt he dictionaries.
The Van Dale version is: "Van Dale cd-rom Engels versie 1.0 (Win32)"

You can get the version with:
~/wine/wine --version
So long as it's 0.9.23, there's nothing else to do. The bug is already fixed.

Please don't be deseperate but i don't really understand. In printf.c, I have to
add something like that? format = "%03I64d"; r =
sprintf(buffer,format,(LONGLONG)-100);
ok(!strcmp(buffer," -100") && r==5,"03I64d failed: '%s'\n", buffer);
How can i check the version of wine because I didn't delete all previous Wine
components before installing the new version? Excuse me for wasting your time
but i'm not very good at programmation ;-)
