I know it's not included with WINE; I downloaded it off of http://www.dll-download.net/msvcp71.html for another game. Also run the app in a virtual desktop (under graphics tab in 'winecfg') to see hidden messageboxes. You can get the dictionaries from ftp://xx.99.202.92/Van%20Dale.tgz if it's available. The same operation with the same files on Windows, from what remember when I used it, didn't lead eMule to crash.
