The severity is compared to other bugs in this database. This is a normal bug,
as you put it yourself: "Application runs, and functions, except for one or two
features."

To Jacek:
Thanks for working hard to fix these things... I realize you are probably
swamped (with the rest of the developers on wine). Do you know when this
version of Wine will be in crossover? I'm looking forward to doing some testing
once it is...

Mike,
I realize fixme's aren't "bugs" perse since the code usually hasn't been
written. That is why I labelled this as a regression and a "fixme" with the
keywords. This one, however, seems to hang my application (well, any input
causes a new "fixme" message to appear, so I'm guessing that because of the lack
of functionality here the app can't continue). I probably need to open a new
bug anyway because it appears that 0.9.25 does fix the "out-of-window" that this
bug originally addressed. I just had to do a "repull" and clean everything
completely for it to take affect.

Summary: Imperialism II 8-bit DIB Error
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.25.
Platform: PC
URL: http://www.the-underdogs.info/game.php?gameid=2693
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: wine-x11driver
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: doctormo(a)gmail.com
When running Imperialism II by frog city (see url for download) the map appears
black, this is because when the game is trying to set a pixel in the map to a
colour it can not find the colour in the colour map space.
When debugging I found the colour map space to have only 0 and 1 entries (no
real colours) so dib.c:X11DRV_DIB_MapColor produces a warning and returns 0,
when I changed the return to phys I got colours enough to be able to see the map
(although completly screwed and I know this is not the way it works)
There is also another warnings:
warn:gdi:GDI_GetObjPtr Invalid handle (nil)
which may be related.
