Vitamin and I tried to get more useful debug messages but so far we failed.
Note that this bug is not a duplicate of bug #5558 nor bug #4590 as those deal
with a seh error explicitly.

Summary: Latest conformance test crashes with Wine 0.9.25
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: critical
Priority: P2
Component: test
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: imaxfun(a)gmail.com
I upgraded to Wine 0.9.25 today, and ran the latest conformance test
winetest-200611101000-paul-mingw.exe just to see it crash while testing
advpack:install dll. The only way to continue is to force abort.
As there were already a few dlls tested succesfully before that, and there
haven't been changes to the test for advpack:install since I've run the test
successfully (I've done it frequently lately), I assume there must be something
wrong with the new version of advpack:install itself now.
I did run the same test on a Win XP machine successfully. I also ran it on the
previous build 0.9.24 successfully. Test results for those runs have been
submitted as th-w18 and th-wine18 respectively.

Summary: Dungeon Keeper 2 Demo exits before getting to the main
menu
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.25.
Platform: Other
URL: http://files.filefront.com/dungeonkeeper2demo/;928719;;/
fileinfo.html
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-misc
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: ploujj(a)gmail.com
I decided to submit this bug because there was some confusion between the
different dungeon keeper problems in Wine. This one only relates to the demo
(AFAIK), but hopefully it might give insight into how to make the full version work.
I installed the game with this long command:
$ rm -rf ~/.wine-testing/ && WINEPREFIX=~/.wine-testing wineprefixcreate &&
WINEPREFIX=~/.wine-testing wine /vault/files/dungeonkeeper2demo.exe
Next, I'll attach the output that I get from wine by default and with relay enabled.

Myth II is one game that suffers from the re-centering problem. You can get the demo from http://

I may be tracking things down a little bit. Because GSAK produces an embedded
browser window for the cache pages, that appears to be what causes the problems
I'm having. The embedded browser appears to not show up in the window and
causes problems with GSAK input (eventually it freezes GSAK).

I can attach the output of
# WINEDEBUG=+ddraw wine medieval_tw.exe
That would be on Gentoo Linux, Wine Version 0.9.24, Medieval Full Game Version
with NoCD-Patch.
Things seem to have gotten slightly worse recently: the menu isn't displayed
anymore - the game crashes right before that.
Hope that helps
