Namely, a symbolic link is set from %USERPROFILE%/Desktop to $HOME/Desktop if this exists. Could you please give this a try and confirm that this bug is fixed? Wine starts only for users which are mentioned in /etc/passwd or if nscd is running. I'll attach traces (strace -f regedit) with and without nscd. Detlef: Now I have two new logs from machines with Wine 200503. The zivotne1 has local printer, the zivotne2 has networked one. The printer is visible in ISS on both machines. ALL: The warning about "Transgressed node" has been caused by +snoop parameter. Check your cupsys configuration if you don't see printers. It says: Run-time error '458': Variable uses an Automation type not supported in Visual Basic.
