Currently I have my sound preferences on alsa using full hardware accel - 22k sample rate and 8b per sample. This leads to the intro videos being played at a fast speed and then suddenly hanging. Running on Fedora Core 5 with latest updates applied. This problem has existed for many months now. Start Arena. The "Options" menu has an item named "Colour Scheme". When you use the mouse to move down the list of items, as you move down the highlight freezes as you hit "Colour Scheme". Now, before doing force quit, click to another virtual desktop and you will see that same "Options" menu displayed erroneously on those desktops. Now, force quit and restart Arena. You cannot ever use the "Colour Scheme" menu item in Arena with Wine (until this bug is fixed I suppose!).
