The installer runs to completion, but the result is not happy. Before starting the installer, you should install the Visual C++ 6 runtimes, and set the registry key to indicate that IE 6 is installed (see http://kegel.com/wine/fakeie.sh.txt). A few highlights from the log: err:module:import_dll Library MFC42u.DLL (which is needed by L"C:\\Program Files\\ArcGIS\\Bin\\afui.dll") not found wine: Call from 0x7ee9db60 to unimplemented function atl.dll.AtlModuleAddCreateWndData, aborting Could not load 'KEYBOARD.DLL' required by 'UNWISE', error=2 It dumps a lot of files into c:\, and it dumps a lot of files into c:\Progra~1 ! Furthermore now works with OS set to e.g. win XP as well. So for me it is fixed.
