Oops, they were demolished by a system upgrade. Here's what I get after fixing
those:
err:module:import_dll Library WMVCore.DLL (which is needed by L"C:\\Program
Files\\Shadowgrounds Demo\\storm3dv2.dll") not found
err:module:import_dll Library storm3dv2.dll (which is needed by L"C:\\Program
Files\\Shadowgrounds Demo\\Shadowgrounds.exe") not found
err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"C:\\Program
Files\\Shadowgrounds Demo\\Shadowgrounds.exe" failed, status c0000135
As you can see the original error description is still accurate.

Summary: text rendering using vsfilter doesn't properly display
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.19.
Platform: PC-x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: wine-multimedia
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: fiberoptic(a)rizon.net
Using virtualdubmod and avisynth everything is working properly except when
trying to render text on the video. It seems that under wine it can't tell that
each letter is a seperate character. It stacks everything ontop of each other.
It does however work if each character is seperated by a text formatting
command in the sub file. I'm using virtualdub 1.5.10.2 build 2540. Vsfilter
version 2.37. and avisynth 2.5.6a.

Today I've update to wine 0.9.19
Compiled it from sources under Fedora Core 5 (kernel 2.6.17-1.2157).
There was an error at the end of compiling process. At work it says:
err:ole:TLB_ReadTypeLib Loading of typelib L"shdocvw.dll" failed with error 1813
err:shdocvw:register_typelib Could not load typelib: 80029c4a
2908: assertion failed "(*(const char*)_DBUS_FUNCTION_NAME) != '_'" file
"dbus-connection.c" line 2877 function _dbus_connection_read_write_dispatch
and at home the same error:
3346: assertion failed "(*(const char*)_DBUS_FUNCTION_NAME) != '_'" file
"dbus-connection.c" line 2877 function _dbus_connection_read_write_dispatch
err:ole:TLB_ReadTypeLib Loading of typelib L"shdocvw.dll" failed with error 1813
err:shdocvw:register_typelib Could not load typelib: 80029c4a
BUT!
Still can't run MultiGo4 under it, while MultiGo 3.9 works perfectly.

That's interesting.
There seem to be two flavors circulating.
http://www.adeptscience.co.uk/download/dldcat/21/0/All/ChemOffice.html
offers ftp://ftp.adeptscience.co.uk/pub/ChemOffice/con902.exe
for download.
We probably need to get both working, so I'll leave this one reopened.
Also, con902.exe sounds more closely related to the original app, con90.exe,
than does the new con100.exe.
