The demo-installer does not have this problem (it also crashes but with different output), so it can not be used to reproduce the problem. I would understand that --hash-style=gnu would break things, but not --hash-style=both. Moreover, winedbg (nor dbghelp) makes use of of .hash sections in ELF files. Could you please post both the full output of 'info share' in winedbg, and also the trace with WINEDEBUG="+dbghelp". If I cd into the directory where the exe file is and run either command, the bug does not appear.
