Looks like an MSI problem, so perhaps James Hawkins should have a look.
It's hard to debug this without a copy of the app, though.
I think the only way to get a trial version of autocad 2004 at this
point is to buy a book with it on cdrom, e.g.

correction:
I removed the .wine directory before installation. The reports are now completly
different then before.
Still CTP 2 doesn't install.

Using WINE 0.9.19 on Gentoo Linux, compiled from source via Portage (Gentoo
Package Management System).
WINECFG has setup symlinks to all the drives properly, this has been double
checked. However, when attempting to load any program (excluding notepad.exe
for some reason), the launch will fail;
mitch@gentooPC /home/mitch $ wine ./DCOM98.EXE
wine_main_preload_info not found
wine_main_preload_info not found
wine: could not load L"H:\\DCOM98.EXE": Invalid address
When attempted with winedbg:

hello, i'm trying to install Mathcad 11 Single User Edition on Zenwalk 2.8.
Wine: 0.9.19
GCC: 3.4.6
OS: Zenwalk 2.8
Programm: Mathcad 11 Single User Edition
cmd-line: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="ole32,oleaut32,rpcrt4=n" wine Setup.exe
when i try to install the programm with the cmd-line, a window appears, but it
is filled only blank white window will be displayed and in the terminal stands:

there's a demo that shows same problem. I don't think this is an ole bug.
Running with native oleaut32, ole32 and rpcrt4 didn't change anything.
