I'm running wine 0.9.19
Default windows version "Windows XP"
WINEDEBUG=+msi,+dialog,+text,+advapi,+wininet
I have set the registry keys as Andrey and Dan pointed out.
dotnetfx.exe starts, i can agree to the license, and the filecopying starts,
installation then halts and and a label says that the setup has ended prematurely.
I added the output as an attachment.

Summary: Latest 0.9.19 Unhandled page fault
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.19.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: critical
Priority: P3
Component: wine-debug
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: john(a)jcoppens.com
Just compiled the latest version (no apparent compilation problems).
Trying to run any program produces similar error messages. I also tried to
remove .wine, and run winecfg, with same problems (.wine isn't created).
The kernel is 2.6.17, and distro is mainly Slackware 10.2.
Will append the winedbg output.

Stefan, thank you very much for taking the time to explain.
It's not absolutely urgent to fix this, because older wine versions are working.
It would just be nice if this was resolved along the way.

BTW! Vitaliy!
I installed dcom98 from MS site and followed the instructions in your email!
---
Try installing dcom98 and using rpcrt4, ole32, oleaut32 from it (overriding as
native).
The problem seems to be in unimplemented "RpcBindingCopy".
---
This took away an fixme:ole
I also installed a native riched20.dll wich took away 2 fixme:riched's
Now I only seem to have the fixme:ntdll left, do you believe this is fixable?
Brgds / Seppo

I found out that I had winetools installed and have previously fiddled with my
setup... To clean it I rpm -e 'ed them out and reinstalled only wine.
Now the application started OK! The next dissapointment is that I can't open any
emails or open new ones to edit. The MemoEdit.exe gives the following runtime error:
---
Header: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Text in box: Runtime Error
Program: C:\Program Files\Nexus Neon Client\MemoEdit.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
---
I found out how to create an attachment and have added one with the dump!
Brgds / Seppo & thanks a lot for your help!
