Upgrade your Wine version - it's old. Not a blocker - read description. Try installing dcom98 and using rpcrt4, ole32, oleaut32 from it (overriding as native). It's really appreciated. Using both the latest wine richedit, and native, I have some serious trouble writing into this box / getting it to focus properly. Not really sure why. But wine doesn´t seem to use the game´s fonts, but the system ones. Also, the own character´s name should be in bold (fat) letters - same when someone "shares experience" with you inside the game, his/her name should become bold as well, which is not the case with this wine version (works with wine 0.9.8). Finally, when you check the box for using OpenGL (Optionen -> Einstellungen: Tab "Erweitert" -> "Benutze OpenGL"), the game´s window moves to left, hiding the text field and the server messages making them flicker.
