Summary: Mouse pointer bug.
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.29.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: wine-directx-dinput
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: byteframe(a)yahoo.com
In the red orchestra, downloaded with steam, I get a strange mouse bug, in both
direct3d, direct3d9, and opengl modes. There seems to be like, two mouse
pointers wine is dealing with here. The in game mouse pointer, (and then mouse
input, aka aiming the gun) are both out of sync, in the sense that the wine
(white windows like) mouse pointer moves faster than the ingame mouse pointer,
so when the white mouse pointer hits the edge of the game window (both windowed,
fullscreen, with and without wine desktop) the ingame mouse pointer stops as
well, therefore I have little room to use the mouse in the game, or even in the
game menus. heres a screenshot so as to better illustrate.

evidentally gnome-screen-shot doesnt capture the wine pointer, but with the red
ingame pointer where it is in the shot, the other pointer is a pixel or two
below the favourites button.
Please assist, Thanks.

Thanks. It look like a good test program. When I will finish with the Rebar
control (on which I'm currently working) I'll try to improve the confirmation
dialogs and submit the patch.

I'd be happy to, if you'll tell me how I can do that. Thanks :).
