The drive type of C: or Z: makes no difference. What I did was installing IEs4Linux from http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/page/Main_Page After installing IE6, I copied the newly generated files from ~/ies4linux/ie6/ and used them as a base for my Wine environment. Reason for doing this is that I can't get the Gecko engine to work AT ALL.
