Is that a standard GetOpenFileName dialog or a custom app's one?
Does an attempt to open a file from Wine's notepad show this problem?
Does Wine properly detects/reports drive type of a problematic mount point
as a remote/network one?

Summary: Guild Wars: Mouse Pointer becomes invisible
Product: Wine
Version: CVS
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-x11driver
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: lkml(a)ds.gauner.org
When running Guild Wars with the latest CVS Version of Wine (as of 02/12/07) the
mouse pointer will vanish as soon as the level loads.
There are patches for dlls/winex11.drv/mouse.c that seem to fix the problem, but
these don't work with the more recent versions of wine.

when trying to install Yahoo Messenger. I attached the console output.

I tried wine_0.9.25-1_i386.deb, wine_0.9.30-1_i386.deb and
wine_0.9.30.orig.tar.gz which I compiled.
