This bug occurs in other versions of the Corel Draw (also version 7 and 9). This
if must to a problem of configuration in winecfg. Go in the border Graphics
configuration and unmark the option Allow Pixel Shader (if supported by the
hardware)". With this the Corel rotate texts correctly.

Summary: Dream Stripper sound doesn't work
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.30.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: wine-multimedia
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: odal(a)stuffcenter.de
"Dream Stripper" sound doesn't work. I did the same as in the "How to" in order
to get the game running, but i still haven't got sound at all.
I also tried to use native 'dmime' and 'dmusic' as Alexander Nicolaysen Sørnes
proposed, but it didn't work for me. Any other ideas ?

Bug still encountered with 0.9.29, and if the missing implementation of
set_queue_size() is actually the root cause, this will still be the case in 0.9.30.
I've hit it with the same software as original reporter, UPDATER.EXE from
Garmin's GPS devices.

No, you don't need a domino server to reproduce it. You don't even need a mail
database. I only use the mail as an example of a notes application that use a
modal window.
You can see the problem almost everywhere:
- when you write an email, and click on
. "address"
. "delivery options"
. "tools/out of office"
. "send and file"
. even when you cancel an email, the dialog won't have the close button
- Using the file/database/open menu
- On the login screen
- etc...
OK, in every modal I checked, there was always a "Cancel" button that allowed me
to close the windows. But you only have these buttons because the designer of
the database decided to. It's very easy to create a modal window without them...
and that's what we did for one of our home made database. Without that, I would
have probably never see it.
So, i agree. That's not a common case...
I will look at the 6.5 client.
