Loki is the only method of installing the game that works for me. As loki just
supplies the installer and run scripts, that should have nothing to do with
wine. I ran the exe anyways directly through wine. reopening

Created an attachment (id=4785)

A test of treeview focus.
Here is a very small test, including source and executable. The source is
virtually a direct copy of the Wine treeview test, with an additional test
added and minor supporting mods to the existing code.It is compiled on Win2K
with mingw. Unfortunately, it does not seem to give valid results when actually
used as a Wine conformance test. Either focus events don't work under the
conformance test structure (perhaps because the Window is not actually mapped,
and therefore does not have focus), or I am doing something wrong ( rather
likely ;)
However, the attached test actually creates a visible window, so the test works
that way. When run on Win2K, it shows that if a label is being edited, a
(programmatic) scroll of the window does not remove the focus from the edit
field. But clicking on one of the scrollbars with the left mouse button does
remove the focus. When run under Wine, the (programmatic) scroll does remove
the focus from the edit field.
So it appears Wine should not do a SetFocus() in the scroll procedures, but
instead in response to perhaps a WM_NCLBUTTONDOWN message.

Running FC6, wine 0.9.30.
This issue has regressed. All install options (Typical, Compact and Custom) are
now at O KB. Selecting custom and pressing next generates critical error prompt
"SetupMgr
You have not selected anything to install. Please go back and select one or
more items before continuing."

Loki isn't supported here, you need to install the game properly in Wine.

Summary: Morrowind fails to load title mp3 track on 6.06 dapper
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.30.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-directx-dmusic
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: wnpersonwantiwn(a)hotmail.com
Ran morrowind (via the loki installer) and got the opeinging screens just fine
(with sound as well). When the game data had been loaded and initialized, the
menu started to come up, but it immediately failed with an error message
complaining about the inability to run the Morrowind Title mp3 (which exists and
is easily playable in xmms).
I am running the most recent wine (0.9.30) and am using full hardware
accelereation on alsa driver, 41000 default sample rate, 16 bits default per
sample, and driver emulation enabled. I am running 6.06 dapper LTS. If you need
more info email me at wnpersonwantiwn(a)hotmail.com.

Summary: Baldurs Gate 2 Soa +Tob interface redrawing difficulties
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.30.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-misc
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: wnpersonwantiwn(a)hotmail.com
After installing both Soa and Tob via the loki installers succesfully, I ran
setup (setting everything to the highest setting and running at 1024x768) and
then started Soa. I had good sound and no problems until I actually started
playing the tutorial after building a Player character. The outside menus would
not redraw unless I pressed escape and then refused to quit, when they would
update themselves. This problem is very similar to bug #6975, but it affects
both TOB and SOA. A window will appear (blank) once dialog is initiated, but the
constant need to exit and deny, exit and deny makes the game unplayable
(especially with spell-casters). I turned off 3d animations and acceleration,
but the problem remained, with somewhat crappier graphics. I am running wine
0.9.30 on 6.06 LTS dapper. if more info is needed just ask! (the only console
messages were dsound errors about incorrect blocksizes).

Oops, I forgot the -depth 8 parameter in the vnc4server example. Also, there
may still be problems with 8-bit mode in general as the game I used this for
failed, and there are other reports in bugzilla of 8-bit being broken.
