The PE executable you supplied is invalid - for both native windows and wine. This could be an installer issue, yes. You use the same installer/media/computer for both? If you reinstall the game in wine do you get the same corrupted binary every time (file compare/crc)? Are there any suspicious installer console outputs (errors, fixme's)? Using wine-0.9.34, I can install or upgrade this software without problem. In fact, it now looks like the real thing on a Win box which I appreciate.
