Could you please test which version of wine is the earliest one after 0.9.27 where you see the broken menu ("incorrect letters"). *********** I tested the version of the logs I`ve sended *********** where can I find 0.9.28, xx29 ... ??? after 0.9.27 I didn`t find a version wich shows die window correct. Begin with the last working version 0.9.2x Check the user interface: if menu is correctly displayed (ignore umlaute issue) Take next version and so on ... until you reach the version where the menu display is broken. We need to know the exact version where it broke, not just a range (like works in 0.9.27 and doesnt work 0.9.35). Could you attach some terminal output of wine? e.g. run: wine appname >log.txt 2>&1 Maybe some FIXMEs/WARNINGs reveal more ... *********I`ve done, Could please test if any version higher than 0.9.27 works for the terminal output. Try 0.9.28, 0.9.30, 0.9.31 and above until you reach the non-working one (just to minimize regression testing). Please ignore the german "Umlaute" issue and concentrate on the issue where the terminal output gets broken. **********Different log`s in attachments!
