Some suspections from the log. One thread's (from nspr4.dll / Gecko?) backtrace starts with WS_select(). Well, my DSL line is bad. But more probably that comes from Gecko IPC. And the code of next thread (0031) seems to be in 16-bit mode. To ease debugging I enabled "Emulate virtual desktop" via winecfg. During install process I chose to download Gecko engine. If I click "Check Username Availability" then, nothing happens but the only line in the output: 002d:fixme:mshtml:HTMLDocument_get_Script (0x1e69fe0)->(0x33e400) If then I click "Register", following is printed: 002d:fixme:mshtml:HTMLDocument_get_Script (0x1e69fe0)->(0x33e3a0) 002d:fixme:mshtml:HTMLDocument_get_Script (0x1e69fe0)->(0x33e3a0) 002d:fixme:mshtml:HTMLDocument_get_Script (0x1e69fe0)->(0x33e3a0) Both buttons get disabled (grayed out) after this and then nothing happens again. At least for a 30 minutes.
