Made a clean install of wine-snapshot-0.9.38.20070612-12.1 and then installed
DVD Shrink. DVD Shrink starts perfectly and I can see how the program scans the
DVD and see images in the preview window. However, after that, any action on
the GUI with the mouse causes it to freeze then it closes without warning
errors. The version 0.9.11 had not this problem. But I should say that I have
upgraded KDE as well, so I don't know exactly where this problem comes from.

Can you try this again? I've added support for large string tables in msi.

I can send the custom action dll in question if anyone wants to take a look at it.

Changing to wine-misc, as there's not enough evidence currently to think this is
a bug in msi.

rzip is impressive: 76MB compressed to 423K. This is a +relay,+msi,+msidb log
of this installer, for those that want to debug this problem further and don't
have the software themselves. My statements from comment #10 still holds.

I've queued FreeCap as a new entry in the db.
"FreeCap is a program for transparently redirecting connections from programs
through a SOCKS server. Some programs don't have native SOCKS support, in this
case FreeCap will be helpful."
Anyway, I got my connection fixed now so I don't need to run through a proxy.
The 3 messages I posted is all I get with FreeCap, trying to launch Steam
through it.
Those are the errors I get with tsocks iexplore http://www.google.dk:

With proxychains it gets even more nasty.
Maybe it's caused by a misconfiguration, anyway, it ends in a loop repeating the
same message, and the remote server says something about "channel 3: open

Works for me in wine 0.9.38. Installs fine...doesn't run though, but that's a
separate issue.
