This doesn't happen with any other steam game. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8533 ------- Additional Comments From vladimiroski(a)gmail.com 2007-13-06 11:34 ------- What a long bug (bug 7929) Well, as it seems there's not current Wine-side solution to this, I will stay for the moment with the workarounds. btw, I saw this in that bug thread (7929): /etc/hosts => "0.0.0.0 auroserver1" It also works, but I presume that it also does not work in "multihomed" configurations, but it's much more easy if I tell to the users of the program that change theirs /etc/hosts to that, than telling them to do "ifconfig"... etc. At least there's some warning from your side, I'll stay with that "solution".
