With the attached msi hack and these steps I can get the installer to complete: $ rm -rf ~/.wine $ wine mono-1.2.3.1-gtksharp-2.8.3-win32-0.exe $ wineserver -k $ cat >> $HOME/.wine/system.reg <<"_EOF_" [Software\\Microsoft\\NET Framework Setup\\NDP\\v2.0.50727] "Install"=dword:00000001 _EOF_ But if I then run the application it aborts showing a message box. I'm using emule standard and fixed udp and tcp ports (not random). Kad is up and emule is downloading.
