Does this mean Wine should also compile against ALSA < 0.9?

> Or you could upgrade your ALSA library and headers. This is a good idea in
general.
No, that's just supporting lazy software development. Wine should be able to
build with old versions of required libraries, and the proper checks should be
in place to allow this.

Xfire works nice but the fonts still doesn't display!
The problem is probably ine because I copied all my font of my Windows
installation and it still doesn't display.
This bug is important for me because when you have to search a server it is
quite difficult.

I find that somewhat hard to believe, since all that patch did was add a method
to IWineD3DDevice. It isn't even being used yet at that point.
Looking at the backtrace though, it appears that DrawPrimitive is being called
without a valid stream source set for stream 0.
Is this a d3d8 game?

In response to Austin English, I will try the next release, as I'm not familiar
with git, and I'm not sure about build it without breaking my gentoo.
BTW, I noticed that I had forget to attach the output.
And looking at your own attachment #6649, they seem to be the same, and relative
to bug #8625.

By the way this not only bug with qip. It seems some ole classes can not be
initialized. QIP gives warning on startup. Later while working if I hide qip
window, I can't get it back by clicking on tray icon.
