I use Photoshop CS with WINE very often for very long time and never seen such a problem. Are you sure that your Photoshop CS version isn't broken? Do you have this problem with other version of WINE? With new 0.9.41 or old 0.9.30 for example?

Hi Dan, I would love to help more, but I don't know what you need.
There is no special way to make this bug appear. It simply happens that every
operation I do on an open picture (apply a filter, resize, resample and so on),
makes one or more of the open panels close.
Please let me know how I can be more helpful if you need something more specific.

No matter what I try, everytime it crashes, I get this...
fixme:d3d:IWineD3DDeviceImpl_CreateAdditionalSwapChain The app
requests more than one back buffer, this can't be supported properly.
Please configure the application to use double buffering(=1 back
buffer) if possible
fixme:win:WIN_CreateWindowEx Parent is HWND_MESSAGE
fixme:winmm:MMDRV_Exit Closing while ll-driver open

This is a regression in dsound. Please open a separate bug for this and
perform the regression test as outlined in
http://wiki.winehq.org/GitWine#regression_testing
If you have a backup of previous QIP install, restore it and delete the key

QIP crash info
By the way after wine uninstallation I manually removed remaining menu entries.
And now after I installed it again, no menu entries appeared. And wine don't
create any of them for installed programs either.

I have uninstalled wine, deleted ~/.wine. Installed wine again, configured it.
Now I can't run qip at all - it crashes. Output is attached.
