Bill, your lack of knowledge concerning this subject is very evident. So you
say you can read, then read [1] because I don't care to explain to you why
putting msvcr80.dll in system32 won't help anything. Also, this bug is still an
exact duplicate, and reopening this bug isn't going to do anything. Please take
your immaturity elsewhere. Thanks.

Bill, this is bugzilla, not support channel. If you do not have anything new to
tell us about this bug (and you obviously can't) then you don't post here at all.
And since you seemed to be even incapable of reading, I will point you to the
comment #8.

It has been suggested that I "have" msvcr80.dll? to fix my similar issue with
Quicken 2007 Home And Business running under wine.
How do I get msvcr80.dll and where do I place it? Do I need to register
something after? Thank you all for any useful input.
Bill

Juan,
How do I get msvcr80.dll? Where should it be installed? I'm a noob, and just
begining to expose myself to the ugly underbelly of M$ based apps (I never used
to care how or why they worked...) Thank you in advance for the info.

Duplicate of either bug 7838 or bug 7640 or bug 6033. Please try with native

Check. WINEDEBUG=+resource or +imagelist gives me the same resource (tons) or
imagelist (about 20 lines) output, but +toolbar gives nothing but the normal
startup/fixme messages.
> This could mean that the application uses a custom control
That would seem likely, especially since most of Audition's widget set looks
like a custom/nonstandard one. If that's the case, the same one is probably used
in other Adobe programs - i can't confirm this because i don't have or use any.

Summary: Call of Duty -> Jerky mouse / freelook problem
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.41.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-programs
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: brian(a)brianvuyk.com
I've been trying to get Call of Duty 1, with the 1.5 patch installed and running
well. I was able to get it installed without any major problems; however, when
playing, the mouse is rather jerky. The framerate stays at a constant 70FPS
without any drops.
When freelooking around, other models / entities in the game continue to move
slowly; just the mouse is jerky. Audio remains great as well.
Let me know if there is any better debug info I can include to help.
