That just was a coincidence that I thought might be related. I've since confirmed that .41 works, while .42 (on repeated installations) fails. Austin, it may be 16-bit - it was Windows 3.1 originally. By "try the latest git" you mean install from cvs via that route? I was finding that before I tried to remove v 0.9.40 , and reinstalled WINE v 0.9.42 , the uninstaller for the chess program "Arasan" didn't work. For which reason I didn't reinstall it intentionally.
