full output of running the installer
hi,
I am on a fairly new opensuse 11 install with wine 1.1.9 package from the
opensuse build service.
I just installed wine and first ran "wine iexplore http://google.com" to have
the gecko engine installed for steam.
then I run "wine start SteamInstall.msi" which yields:
fixme:exec:SHELL_execute flags ignored: 0x00000500
fixme:msi:MSI_OpenDatabaseW open failed r = 8003001e for
L"C:\\windows\\temp\\msi1da.tmp"
I see some window very briefly popup and disappear again.
if I run "wine msiexec /i SteamInstall.msi" I just get the second fixme and no
window popup
I don't know if this may be related, but I know, on windows, if you start an
MSI install from a subst'ed drive (for example, on my real windows I have T:
mapped to C:\temp), it will fail too with no clear reason..

Worms Armageddon full fix patch for Wine 1.1.3+
This fixes the other issue with crashing sub menus as well. I don't know if the
crashing issue is related to the black screen hack.

Homeworld 2 Console Log
With an without a no-cd patch(as in, probably not SecuROM related), a clean 1.1
installation of Homeworld 2 does not run at all. It will get far enough to
change the resolution, then crash.
The URL given links to the demo you can download to try it out.

Please don't close it. Bugs are closed in the next release (so we can get a
list of bugs fixed in that release).

No longer getting error with latest version of wine (1.0.1). Now remote
playlist connection works, audio streaming works, but video streaming does not.
Closing this bug report and opening new one with new error.

well that's a different bug... you should close this one and open a new one for
the video rendering.
