I notice when I plug my gamepad it appers as /dev/input/js0 or js1. It has the oddest symptom: it puts up the UI and then gets stuck until I press ^C in the console. It then redraws and gets stuck again. Repeat. Not very useful! Letters typically all appear in uppercase.
