It happens only if the Slovak keyboard layout is activated. So I did. size 13271880 name jaman-installer.exe sha1sum 6df4a5905bf9e4e5a64c36504749d922db557761 The installer tries to download Quicktime 7, and fails (although wget of the same URL succeeds). I think the pft9f95~tmp installer was for Adobe. I tried logging the install, and I did succeed, but +relay is 1 gigabyte *compressed*. All it's doing at the end is lots of variant twiddling and waiting. The second time I run it then however, it works without any problems. I have this even after starting over with a fresh .wine and on both Ubuntu Dapper & Hardy with all recent Wine versions as far as I can remember. I suspect it is related to my hardware in some way.
