After I first launched the game it claimed that d3dx9_25.dll could not be found. So I downloaded it from this url: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?d3dx9_25 I moved it to: ~/.wine/drive_c/Programme/3000AD/Universal Combat/ I launch the game with this command: cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Programme/3000AD/Universal\ Combat env WINEDEBUG=fixme-all WINEPREFIX="~/.wine" wine "C:\Programme\3000AD\Universal Combat\uc.exe" The game has to be launched from the install directory because otherwise it claims the the config files can not be found. After executing the command sometimes a black game window appears without changing and sometimes it does not. But the error messages from wine are always the same and can be found in the attachment.
