This deals with the issue I mentioned earlier about gpstrack checking and poping up a message and demands the user to acknowledge (which can sometimes be behind the main application window), when it doesn't get a success message. Client's won't connect (they don't "authenticate" correctly), although now the app doesn't crash like it did. The log you posted is the crash in software mode where the current bug was initially created for the d3d mode. Actually the same crash which Tomasz reported is still there in current git.
