I tested the latest GIT and the issue remains. The installer crashes before it even lets you try to install the application. Presumably, from the presence of an Access database in the application directory, the application is trying to load the database but fails. Installation of the MDAC 2.8 and Microsoft Jet 4.0 engine did not improve the situation, though it allowed the application to go further in ole traces.
