Misread that, you're correct. However, ATI drivers (as well as intel) are known
for being incomplete. Nvidia is currently the most feature complete, especially
when it comes to games (Compiz/glxgears/etc. do not strain the graphics
card/driver the way many games do). See also http://wiki.winehq.org/fglrx

If the problem occurs when changing drivers, why do you assume the bug is in
Wine? The OSS drivers do not implement all needed features, that's the problem.

This bug is still active for Knights of Honor.
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=7607
At no point is a cursor displayed in the game interface, which makes it
unplayable.

Yeah, I have that too. But I still get nice performance(40-50 FPS on 1600x1200)
with my x600. As I'm using the OSS ATI drivers, the prob probably lies in WINE.

With wine-1-rc1 and the most recent ATI catalyst drivers on Debian Sid x86_64
and an ATI X1800 XT card I keep getting this error when starting with opengl
switch:
libGL error: drmMap of framebuffer failed (Nicht genügend Hauptspeicher
verfügbar)
libGL error: reverting to (slow) indirect rendering
Then WC3 starts but the graphics are corrupted and I have like 1 frame/second.
The drivers are correctly installed, Direct Rendering from glxinfo sais YES and
other games in Wine like Counter Strike 1.6 using OpenGL run fine.
Did anyone solve this problem?

Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2

Safari 3.0.4 under Wine 0.9.49
Safari 3.0.4 on Wine 0.9.49 the title bar is missing making it difficult to
maximize, minimize, and close the window.
I can do the above using keyboard shortcuts, but the buttons in the titlebar
are more intuitive to use, at least for me.
