screenshot of before and after the minimize/restore
On a fresh install of Picasa, start Picasa.
If the window is maximized, then minimizing and restoring causes the bottom
toolbar to be displayed at an offset.
If the window is not maximized, then minimizing and restoring causes the bottom
toolbar to disappear completely. (see attached screenshot)
This is a regression caused by:
commit 6f14ba738706383c01a749ca3c8d72d1351ed583

winex11: Retrieve the current window placement in MapNotify before
modifying
it.
Tested on KDE 3.5, I think it happens on Gnome with metacity as well.

+iphplapi trace in git
Decided to start giving PC-BSD a try, since it's the only BSD that will
actually install for me. This is in a virtualbox VM, and I've set all the
setting to be exactly the same as the ones I use for the Feisty VM I usually
test in at work.
Doing so, there are quite a few BSD specific bugs. I'm going to try to find all
the differences in make test and file those first...
First up, iphplapi fails in BSD, but not Ubuntu. +iphplapi log attached. Not
sure what component is closest...

Summary: WMP10 main window spurious window decorations
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.59.
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Keywords: download
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: dank(a)kegel.com
To repeat:
wget http://kegel.com/wine/winetricks
sh winetricks -q wmp10
cd ".wine/drive_c/Program Files/Windows Media Player"
wine wmplayer.exe
Note the lovely hole between the top of the
intended UI and the window decorations.
You can even click through it, it's so transparant.
Presumably the main window isn't supposed to be decorated.
Reproduced on both older Ubuntu and Gutsy, both with gnome.

WINEDEBUG=+dinput, on wine 0.9.52 with B&W v1.30. Several attempts to click to
start the first level were made
Black & White (original game, no expansion pack) does not respond to mouse
clicking. This happens with versions 1.00 (retail), 1.10 and 1.30.
I have tested so far with Wine versions 0.9.49 and 0.9.52. In both versions,
the game does not respond to mouse clicks, so it is completely unplayable.
