How about putting the key for downloaded files from Sourceforge.net?
I cannot find on the winehq.com pages the instruction how to verify your
downloaded wine package.
I think the best place would be http://www.winehq.org/site/download
Eventually, this link can be provided:

wine-1.0 output on TRLE
BTW, download is available.
http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/vista/tr4_demo.html (TR 4 Demo)
http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/vista/trle.html (TRLE, uses the same
engine, behaves similarly).
As Neils said, it no longer crashes, but behaves pretty werid. It all looks
like the game is zoomed one hundred times, so that you just see few pixels
rapidly changing as the camera moves. Attached is the wine output.
The most weird thing is that it behaves similarly in both software and hardware
rendering modes...
Attaching wine output. There are few fixmes and 7 thousands of
err:d3d7:IDirect3DDeviceImpl_3_GetRenderState Unexpected texture stage state
setup, returning D3DTBLEND_MODULATE - likely erroneous

It's been ages since I stopped using sawfish and focus follows mouse. Also I
rarely use Wine these days. However, since you asked, I installed sawfish on my
Ubuntu Hardy and set it to the "enter-exit" behavior. I then installed Office
2000 in a fresh .wine directory. The result:
Problem remains for Word 2000 and Excel 2000
I didn't test the other office programs, but other programs (e.g. winmine and
notepad from a Windows XP installation) do not show the problem. The problem
still only appears for enter-exit and not enter-only.
I tested this using wine 1.0.0-1ubuntu2~hardy1 from hardy-backports.
wine --version says "wine-1.0"
Btw, the Office 2000 programs don't work very well: I can't type anything in
them.

I don't know how to add this information to the bug, but this is caused by the
same reason as bugs 1202 and 8232 (1202: d3drm.dll not existing/only a stub;
8232 Arx Fatalis fails to start).
Basically, Warhammer: Dark Omen calls D3DCreateDevice indirectly through
D3DRM.DLL, which isn't implemented. We need to raise awareness of other games
using this .dll to speed up the implementation and introduction of it into
Wine.

Test with wine 1.0rc5
There is mouse issues while ine the menus or ingame, the mouse movement are
blocked left or right, which prevent to turn 360°.
Tested some mouse sensibility tweakings in mouse oprions, but problem still
occurs.
I didn't test with previous version, so I cant tell if it's a regression.

Summary: Need for Speed Underground doesn't start
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.61.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org

As said in the title, I can't launch NFSU. Wine simply crashes. The console
output is short :
err:winedevice:ServiceMain driver L"Cdr4_2K" failed to load
err:winedevice:ServiceMain driver L"Cdralw2k" failed to load
ALSA lib seq_hw.c:457:(snd_seq_hw_open) open /dev/snd/seq failed: Aucun fichier
ou répertoire de ce type
err:rpc:I_RpcReceive we got fault packet with status 0x3e6
I know some people managed to run this game on earlier versions of wine. If
they have the same crash in Wine 0.9.61, it would be cool to make regression
test.
