Its was test started and work OK A Windows software tool application was installed from CD via WINE-DOORS. It also worked ok. WINE-DOORS actually prompted to install and additional Windows app which helped get the Help Window to work reasonably. TomTom Home was also installed via WINE-DOORS it works partially (that is another matter) All three apps were added to the apps menue and could be started via the apps menue in KDE. Later .... None of these apps would start. john1:/home/john/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Internet Explorer # wine iexplorer. exe wine: created the configuration directory '/root/.wine' Could not load Mozilla. HTML rendering will be disabled. wine: configuration in '/root/.wine' has been updated. wine: could not load L"C:\\windows\\system32\\iexplorer.exe": Module not found The iexplorer and other app exe files are where they should be in there respective folders i.i. \Program Files\app-name Somehow WINE configuration path information must have been changed.
