testing on 1.0 deb package for ubuntu 7.10 starcraft + bnet is now fully
playable (now shows bnet text), bnet background is still missing but this does
not affect choosing a game)
basically this is the 0.9.33 behaviour again. :)

Anyone else care to confirm this?

Screenshot of the "no redraw"
Negative on current GIT. Still same as before (even if you alt+tab it doesn't
redraw, you end up with the Battle.NET text drawn over an image of your
desktop).

Notice the missing redraw elements!
I have just found out where are those damned gui elements gone... The statement
is false about wine doesnt redraw those gui backgrounds, it draws outside of
the 640X480 screen... I found this accidently when my starcraft was started
with fullscreen, but when battle net was working in the background, I was
switched my screen resolution to 1280*1024 to use pidgin to talk to my friends.
I was surprised about the missing gui elements, they were drawn outside of
starcraft, and there every missing elements were working properly exept, they
are not placed where they should. I hope this information will help devs to fix
this issue, but im curious about is me the first person who modificed the
resolution durend the gameplay?

Summary: Autocad 2005 - Dockable toolbars don't dock anymore
(regression)
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.1
Platform: PC-x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: max(a)veneto.com
Besides of bug http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4627, which is still
unconfirmed (I wonder why.... very easy to reproduce), now dockable toolbars
can't be docked anymore.
They appears as a separate window, with title and close button; the content is
misplaced (as seen in bug 4627) and they can't be docked, as opposite as wine
1.0.
(not sure about 1.1.0....)

Has anyone tried this with the newest version of WINE?
And has anyone tried the FFXI config exe to let FFXI run in a window?

Then this bug got fixed. If this message is displayed under Wine even when the
CD-ROM is in the drive, and it there is no such message under Windows, then
this could be the subject of another bug report. However, if I understand
correctly that one also gets such a messages NT/2k/XP and it works only under
Windows 9x then it's possible it uses a Win9x VxD driver for copy protection
and it may be hard to make it work under Wine.

It is the same behavior as on Windows 2000. The game itself will only run on
Win9x though, and I don't have a setup to test that at the moment.

Okay - is there a way of getting any meaningful information out of wine, which
I can use in a bug report?
