Is this still an issue in current (1.1.0 or newer) wine?

Comment #6 is based on behaviour from a very long time ago. I don't know
anything from msi, but i created a debuglog, and it looks like the installer
bumps out after this call:
0018:Call KERNEL32.GetProcAddress(00000000,00ea1290 "WelcomeDlg") ret=10005531
0018:Ret KERNEL32.GetProcAddress() retval=00000000 ret=10005531
Is that WelcomeDlg some kind of action in msi? Or am i way off?

It doesn't matter what my fstab configuration options are. The bug is
unaffected.

> Oh, and the ide says "out of memory".
The commit: http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-cvs/2008-July/044863.html
should fix that (along with the fixme line). We should have support for most
custom data types (fixme line 2) in pretty soon too.

Summary: Unreadable fonts / dialogues with Wine and ATI cards
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.0
Platform: PC

Status: UNCONFIRMED

Unreadable dialogue from Grabit
Ever since I installed my Radeon HD 3850 in Linux I noticed a strange problem
with fonts and dialogues in Wine. Fonts are hard to read because they are
covered with a greyish line.
I tried searching in the bug database for a dupe, but I didn't know the exact
keyword to use, I searched for graphics corruption and ATI but this yielded no
results.

Summary: No sound in Red Faction (1/2) [Regression]
Product: Wine

OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal

The output in console
Like the title is saying, I can't get any sound from the 2 games anymore.
>From wine versions below 1.0rc1, the whole game was unplayable, Wine versions
after that work flawlessly and with sound, but in wine 1.1 the sound isn't
working anymore.
I tried a native dsound.dll, but this also doesn't fix the problem.
When I try to get the soundcard recognized in the launcher and click onto the
"Audio" tab it responses a
"mixer.c:336: DSOUND_MixToTemporary: Zusicherung »writepos + len <=
dsb->buflen« nicht erfüllt" and after that it crashes.
This affects these 2 games, that are using the GeoMod engine.
