While trying to verify a bug (http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9724) I noticed that application is actually quite good for reproducing (instant lockup on file open/save dialog). Though it suffers from other bugs unrelated to this one so I filed this issue as separate bug. Tried installing from /media/audition/Adobe Audition 1.5/setup.exe but it didn't complete. (I think the other Setup just calls this one anyway.) It starts the installer and gets to the screen that says "This setup will install Adobe Audition 1.5 on your computer. To continue, click next." After pressing Next, it disappears, and I get the attached error messages. Sorry if this is my mistake, I'm pretty new to Wine. When running the Sonos Desktop Controller software, v2.5 - available here: http://www.sonos.com/support/, clicking around in the Music Library List on the right hand side causes the software to crash. Installation completes successfully but all I get after trying to run the app is: $ wine Program\ Files/Microsoft\ Office/Office12/PPTVIEW.EXE fixme:heap:HeapSetInformation 0x110000 1 (nil) 0 $ Btw, English language version (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=048…, size 27024112, MD5 sum 9b4b476488674ae103d2e97cd88cd222) works fine.
