Summary: Fireworks 8 memory error
Product: Wine
Version: 1.0-rc4
Platform: PC-x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: laurent(a)gecka.com
Only one big bug. To reproduce:
- create anew image
- draw some shapes
- in optimize panel choose for example Jpeg and then using the panel menu
choose progressive
Ooops a "Memoire insufisante" (not enough memory) occurs.
Then fireworks just does not work anymore: close it and open it, create or open
any image and the error appears.
Deleting windows/profiles/crossover/Application Data/Macromedia/Fireworks
8/French/Fireworks 8 Panel Prefs.xml makes it work again but loosing all
personal settings.
I extensively use Fireworks so this bug is really annoying and slows me down in
my work.

When running all games I tried with wine (Need For Speed 3, GTA, GTA 2 ...) on
my laptop with a widescreen (native resolution of 1280x800), I get a truncated
screen (the bottom is missing). I don't have the same problem with native linux
game using SDL or OpenGL.
The problem also occured with wine O.9.53, before I updated to 0.9.56 to try to
solve the problem.

I used to be able to play this game using native dsound and dmusic on wine
2005. When I tried this game again recently, it gives error on
dmloader:IDirectMusicLoaderImpl_IDirectMusicLoader_SetObject. Although it
never works natively, it shouldn't crash the game.
It works fine if I disabled sound on winecfg. Wine should have continued if
music doesn't work.
This is the game I tried.

The summary pretty well says it.
Linux kernel dmsg reports 4 Microsoft SideWinder GamePad detected.
dinput_test.exe also reports 4 Microsoft SideWinder GamePad detected.
Running Atomic Bomberman only reports 2 Microsoft SideWinder GamePads
The game ships with DirectX 3.0a and was designed for Windows 95
Back when I had a windows machine, Bomberman did work with 4 GamePads, so the
game can support 4.
