log with wineserver crashed
1. delete "~/.wine"
2. execute "wine WINEPREFIX"
3. copy native "l_intl.nls" from Windows into ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32
directory.
4. set the Windows version as Windows 2000 (winecfg).
5. run the installer of .NET 2.0
6. next->accept the terms of the License Agreement-> install
I assume it's an regression but due my slow internet connection it may take
some time untill i make regression test so I just wanted to report a problem.

@Gavin
Well, what do you know. Disabling OpenGL VSync in my nvidia-settings tool
solves this problem. And now that it's disabled, the mouse movements feel
completely good again, more direct somehow, both in-game and in-menu. Since
this bug, there was always something wrong with the mouse, even in the menu, in
Call of Duty, but that has been solved now.
Looking back, an upgrade of Wine was never the actual trigger for this bug for
me. Some time ago, I tried downgrading wine to identify the regression version,
but even very early versions showed this bug, so I was kind of stumped. And I
do remember that at some point, I turned on VSync. I guess it was that that
triggered this bug for me.

playing with the framerate limits seems to effect this bug alot, for example;
option, 'synced' to my refresh rate (75hz), lag (stutter) seems better but
still there.
'no sync' (no fps limit) and 30fps limit, is just unplayable.

Possible solution
A possible solution may lie in tweaking libraries. Another idea is to try an
older Wine release (like 20050310 or so) I am pretty sure, I have ran the game
successfully in some older wine release, so it is theoretically possible.

so my questions are which libraries and how?

Still present in 1.1.12.
Now it doesn't end upon music finish anymore, hangs with message:
err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x13a430 "?" wait timed out in
thread 001f, blocked by 0000, retrying (60 sec)
